At the heart of our journey are the dedicated, traditional
beekeepers of Taplejung, a pristine high-altitude district in
eastern Nepal. For generations, these mountain communities
have coexisted with nature, utilizing sustainable, time-tested
methods to harvest pure, raw honey.
The secret to our honey’s distinct, robust flavor profile lies in
the rich and untouched alpine flora of the Himalayas. Our bees
forage freely on a diverse range of wild, native plants—
including Leucosceptrum canum (locally known as bhusure),
wild cherry blossoms (Prunus cerasoides), wild osmanthus
(jhigane), and high-altitude medicinal herbs.
By partnering directly with local Taplejung farming
households, we help promote sustainable rural livelihoods
while protecting the vital mountain ecosystem. Every jar we
deliver is a celebration of community resilience, indigenous
craftsmanship, and the wild, unfiltered energy of the
Himalayas.
